Job description

We Exhibit is seeking an Exhibition Designer for project-based collaborations in preparation for our upcoming 2025 installations.

The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively with the Exhibit Design team, contributing to all stages of cultural exhibition projects - from initial design concepts to production and on-site implementation.


General Requirements:

- Experience in exhibition design and installation processes;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong work planning skills and the ability to carry out tasks autonomously;
- Flexibility and determination, combined with a natural aptitude for dialogue and engagement;
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.

Specific Requirements:

- Advanced proficiency with major 3D modelling software (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.) and 2D design software (AutoCAD 2D);
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Illustrator);
- Familiarity with Google spreadsheets, email, and Drive;
- Knowledge of key aspects of exhibition production;
- Familiarity with materials used in exhibition setups;
- Understanding of the supplier-client relationship dynamics;
- Experience in site coordination.

Additional Requirements:

- Experience with 3D rendering software (V-Ray plugin).

Workplace: We Exhibit headquarter (Venice) and project-related sites.
Type of Collaboration: Freelance (with VAT registration) or project-based contract.
Availability: Full-time (5 days a week) or as required by the project.
Period: January/February – June 2025.
